Welcome to File Studio. Please read this Agreement and our Privacy Policy carefully before use. By downloading, installing, tapping "Agree and Continue", or otherwise using the app, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Acceptance

This User Service Agreement ("Agreement") governs your use of File Studio. The Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, and Permission Description form part of this Agreement.

On first launch, we provide prominent disclosure of sensitive permissions and links to legal documents. Choosing "Agree and Continue" constitutes acceptance.

File Studio is a file manager for Android devices, including but not limited to:

Some system paths may be restricted without Root. See Permission Description for details.

Services are provided "as is" and "as available". We may add, change, or remove features.

3. Eligibility

This service is not directed to children under 13. Users who have not reached the age of majority where they live must use the app only after a guardian has read and agreed to this Agreement, and under that guardian's guidance.

There is no separate in-app account. Subscription status is managed by Google Play Billing.

You are responsible for device security, Root authorization, and remote server credentials.

4. Free Trial and Subscriptions

4.1 Subscription Product

File Studio offers free basic access. A subscription unlocks: large-file and code editing; read-only APK and DEX viewing; hex editor; terminal; database browser; a remote client (FTP, FTPS, SFTP, SMB, and WebDAV) and on-device share (FTP, FTPS, SFTP on Android 8 and later, and WebDAV; SMB share is not offered); image editor and professional video. Root, Shizuku, custom su, and nearby transfer do not require a subscription. Price and plan follow the Google Play product page and the in-app subscription screen.

4.2 Free Trial

We may offer a free trial for new subscribers: 3 days on weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly plans (actual duration shown on Google Play). During the trial, premium features are available as described at purchase.

4.3 Auto-Renewal

Unless you cancel before the trial or billing period ends, your subscription auto-renews and Google Play charges your payment method. Plans may be weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly.

4.4 Pricing and Taxes

Prices, currency, and taxes are as displayed on Google Play at purchase. We do not collect payment card data directly.

We provide an easy-to-find in-app link to manage or cancel subscriptions.

4.7 Changes

We may change subscription benefits or pricing per Google Play rules and applicable law. Cancel before changes take effect if you disagree.

5. Acceptable Use

You must not use File Studio unlawfully, infringe others' rights, reverse engineer or crack the app, bypass subscription verification, or abuse the service.

Operations on sensitive paths (/system, /data, others' app data) are at your own risk.

6. Intellectual Property

File Studio and its UI, code, icons, and trademarks belong to Guangzhou Jingyou Xingqu Technology Co., Ltd. File Studio is proprietary commercial software, not open source. Third-party open-source components are listed under Open Source Licenses.

We grant a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use the app while you comply with this Agreement and hold a valid subscription where required.

You retain rights to files you create or edit.

APK, DEX, and binary XML viewing in this app, including read-only decompilation preview, does not write changes back. It is for learning, research, and interoperability analysis only. You must not use these features to infringe any third-party application's intellectual property or other rights, or to copy, distribute, or commercially exploit the results without authorization.

Deleting, overwriting, or moving files may be irreversible. Root, Shizuku, custom su, or system-directory operations may make the system unstable, prevent it from starting, cause data loss, or void the warranty. Installing a third-party APK may violate its distribution terms.

The remote client supports FTP, FTPS, SFTP, SMB, and WebDAV. On-device share supports FTP, FTPS, SFTP (Android 8 and later), and WebDAV. SMB share is not offered. FTP and http WebDAV (including the on-device WebDAV share) may be sent in cleartext. SFTP and FTPS use SSH or TLS. SMB encryption depends on that connection's settings. Nearby transfer uses TLS (a self-signed certificate, a certificate fingerprint, and a PIN) and is not cleartext FTP. The app does not show an extra confirmation dialog before a public cleartext connection. See the Disclaimer for more.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages.

Our total liability is capped at amounts you paid us for subscriptions in the prior 12 months (or amounts paid for the app, if any).

Nothing limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Changes, Termination, and Governing Law

We may update this Agreement with notice for material changes. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

You may stop using the app at any time. We may restrict service for material breaches.

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the Operator is established. Disputes shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation; if negotiation fails, either party may submit the dispute to a court of competent jurisdiction in that place.
